Worship in the Sanctuary
We invite all of our families to join us for worship in the Sanctuary which features the majestic sounds of our professional choir led by David Sparr, our amazing Music Director. Childcare is available on Rosh Hashanah Morning and on Yom Kippur by RSVP.   Today (Tuesday, September 27th) is the last day to get our discounted childcare price.
Shofar, so good!
At Ohabei Shalom, children have two opportunities to participate in the shofar service. After the Youth Services on Rosh Hashanah morning, all children are invited to the bima in the main Sanctuary to help with the shofar calls. Additionally, at the very end of the afternoon service on Yom Kippur, both adults and children are invited to the bima to participate in the final shofar blast. If you have a shofar of your own, here is your chance to bring it and share in the ritual! The holiday ends with a procession of children leading us into havdallah.

Tuesday Tashlich – Tuesday, October 4th, 3:30 pm
Join us on the second day of Rosh Hashanah for the beautiful ritual of Tashlich. Ansin Religious School students will join the TOS community in the ceremony of tashlich, a short service where we cast away all of our mistakes and errors from the past year and think about how to be better in the future. We will walk down to the Muddy River together, leaving from the sanctuary steps at 3:30 pm. TCEE families are welcome to join us! We think you will love participating in this short and sweet ceremony with your child.

All of the above services are free events. Reserve your Family Service ticket for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur here.

A note about child care:
At Ohabei Shalom, children are always welcome at all of our services. At times they may need a chance to move around and play. Child care is offered on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur by RSVP.

We look forward to sharing the holidays with you!
